Meet the InfoTech Team

Bob Moore

Bob founded InfoTech Resources in 1994 to provide technical staffing services to clients and IT professionals in the greater Chicago area.

Since that time, Bob has been the driving force behind the company’s continued success. He provides strategic direction and oversight for the deployment and delivery of the firm’s services, and is instrumental in building and maintaining the company’s long-term relationships with both clients and IT consultants. With his professional background and extensive industry experience, Bob brings a broad perspective and deep understanding of what it takes to implement enterprise-wide technologies to each client relationship, with a sharp focus on delivering the highest level of quality.

A leader in the Chicago IT community, Bob is president of WindyTech, an IT collaboration and networking group, past president of the Chicago WebSphere User Group and has held significant positions of leadership in TechServe Alliance, including a term as president of the Midwest Chapter, and has served as a board member for TechServe at the national level.

Prior to founding InfoTech, Bob served as a senior technology systems and software sales and business development executive for several leading technology companies. He holds a business degree from Western Michigan University.  Bob is married with 2 great daughters and he likes to ski, hike, travel, grill meat, cheer for the Cubs and the beloved Bears.

Scott Miller

Scott is the director of sales and recruiting. Scott joined the InfoTech team in 2012 and has since become the “go-to” source for his network of candidates. Known for his attention to detail and knowledge of the industry, Scott began serving as a senior account manager in 2015. In his dual role, Scott utilizes InfoTech’s proven recruitment process to create lasting relationships between candidates and clients. Scott is actively involved in the Chicago IT community and is a participant in the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Chicagoland Chapter. He obtained his B.A. in political science and history from Illinois Wesleyan University and his MA in history from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. Outside the office, Scott and his wife purchased a home in Glen Ellyn in July 2016, and they are busy homemaking. In his free time, Scott is an avid sports fan and has recently resumed brewing beer and smoking barbeque.

Abby Gaffney

Abby Gaffney is the newest member of the InfoTech Resources team. In additionto pursuing an education in Science, Abby has focused on her career outside ofschool as well.  She has consistently been promoted in just about every job shehas had.  She has held multiple managerial positions in the retail, and hospitalityindustry, for the past five years including large organizations and smaller businessentities.  She has been primarily focused on helping the growth of smaller businesses,creating connections within the local community, and maintaining lasting relationshipswhile simultaneously overseeing her employees. Abby has stayed close to her hometownof Aurora IL, and currently resides in Geneva. Abby’s free time is primarily centered onexploring the outdoors, being an aunt, cooking new recipes, reading, and she hasrecently started working on creating a business for her art. As a technical recruiter,Abby is passionate and excited about developing a network of IT professionals,helping candidates find new careers, and helping clients find their desired talent allwhile cultivating her social skills and knowledge of the IT industry.

Laurie Vander Naald

Laurie is the accountant for InfoTech Resources. Laurie came to InfoTech with 25 years of experience in accounting, office management and marketing, and has worked in the recruiting, financial and healthcare industries. She specializes in knowledge of the recruiting business having worked for a large accounting staffing organization, in addition to a dietitian’s office and for a Vocational Rehabilitation company. Laurie graduated from Elmhurst College with a degree in business administration. In her spare time, Laurie is actively involved in her church and coordinates Life on Wheels, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide free transportation and social interaction to people in wheelchairs. She also enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis and traveling. Laurie is a proud grandmother, wife and mother to three.
